The Story
For over three decades, Looe's young people have had nowhere to skate, ride, or just exist outdoors without being moved on.
That changes now.
Looe Development Trust and Looe Town Council have secured the land at Millpool and obtained full planning permission (PA25/04810).
The vision is real. The clock is ticking.
All that stands between us and breaking ground is funding ££££.
Why It Matters
Skate parks aren't just concrete and steel. They're where kids find their crew, learn to fall and get back up, and spend time outside away from screens. Research consistently shows that accessible outdoor youth facilities reduce antisocial behaviour, improve mental health, and bring communities together.
Looe has beaches, boats, and beauty. It deserves a skate park too.
